Wow, I've been pretty slack on updating this... It's been a crazy few months of "real life" stuff.
Been quite busy with model/art things as well though - there's a bunch of new galleries up, and there'll be more coming soon. I'm looking into casting replicas of my sculpts in resin in the near future, so I'll have news on that shortly. For now, here's a picture of the first piece I'm going to cast.

Finished a whole bunch of sculpts recently - six more players for the Steampunk Bloodbowl team. The Runners are all girls, and one of the throwers has a ball-launching bazooka. Two new galleries are up in the custom minatures section.

Finished this guy up over the weekend for a customer in the U.S. - a 25mm Napoleonic soldier.
Usually I work in 28mm scale, so getting everything proportional but smaller was a fun bit of challenge. Always neat to try something new with art techniques :)

Finished up these today, a squad of Adeptus Custodes converted from various Spacemarine parts and high elf bits. Also got a couple of tanks for a customer in Ireland done today, so there's a new gallery up for the Custodes, and more pics of the tanks in the Custom Eldar army gallery.

I still have time for custom sculpts, just a bit less time. There are however, two new galleries up, one a "Kid Wizard" for a customer in California, and one a Dwarf mercenary with a dog for a guy in Singapore

These are for a customer in Australia, Him and his wife are big D+D nuts, and want a diorama themed on their characters for the top of their wedding cake. He always plays Dwarf characters, she always plays Elves, so the Bride and Groom are made to match their favorites. I'm really happy with this project, it's cool as hell to know your art is going to be part of someone's important memories.

Just built this yesterday, painted it today. Very happy with how it turned out. I used the biggest cap gun I could find, and added plastic tubes, bits of tank kits, fake rivets, scraps of metal and plasticard and some gears. Looks dead sharp and still works as a cap gun :) This'll work itself into a halloween costume of some kind, I'm sure :)

Just added another Custom piece to the gallery - A Slann Mage Priest with LED "magic orb". He runs off of three watch batteries and I think he will make an excellent general for the client's army.

I've been painting an Eldar army for a customer in Ireland, there's a gallery up with some finished pieces and some "in progress" shots I've been sending him. So far it's just Guardians and an Avatar of Khaine, but there'll be Wraithlords and Dire Avengers soon, and eventually a lot more !

The Terror Toads are converted from Kroot, and the Altdorf team consists of the human star players I sculpted for the NAF world cup minis plus some other stuff I made to match.

Updated the Cryx Warmachine gallery today, there's literally dozens of new pics up. All my Cryxian Warjacks, characters, and units in fact :) The pic above is a Reaper Helljack I built using the arms and head from the new plastic Cryx Helljack kit on a body and legs I sculpted myself.

Lots going on, I've been making contacts with small gaming companies and churning out the models both for clients and for myself :) Got copyright done on a game I wrote, and I've given a copy to a new group called "Platinum Lion" miniatures - also did some sculpts for them. Here's a look at something I just started. New IG force based around Empire and Cadian bits. I love the baseplates on these guys. High Marshall Tolriggen here is the general, but he doesn't have a command squad yet. These are the only ones I've made so far but this is going to be an AMAZING looking army !

This new gallery shows off one of my human teams for Bloodbowl - The Altdorf Thunder. This team is based around 2 sets of the NAF human players I sculpted through IMPACT! miniatures. Didn't like the cartoony look of the designs they gave me at first but they grew on me as I worked on them. Ended up liking them a lot more - enough to base a team around them and sculpt up a few pieces to match. The team also features another NAF miniature - the Ogress I sculpted for them in march. Enjoy !

This ENORMOUS new gallery in the 40k section shows off my entire "Ausmania Secundus Rangers" Imperial Guard army for Warhammer 40k. Based on Catachan models and a few scratch-built pieces, every model in this army has been converted and or puttied onto. The centrepiece is the Iron Duke, the excellent new Leman Russ Executioner kit from GW - the textured floor inside inspired some fantastic interior modelling. I hope people enjoy looking at these models even half as much as I enjoyed making them, cause this project was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Scratch Built 40k "Knight Warden" Titan !!!

Warhammer players over a certain age may remember the "Knight Titans" - They were 28mm models for Epic scale - like smaller versions of Reaver Titans. This one, the "Invigilus" was built on Mars for Knight Princeps Vorl Thunyerus - by which I mean it was built in 2 days from Sentinel bits, Ironclad Dreadnought bits, and pieces of the lascannon platforms from a pair of bastions.

The Princeps in the picture is Lord Princeps Agmundr Searwoll, the leader of my (in progress) Adeptus Titanicus army. More pics to come.

This great Orky Juggernaut is constructed from a Shadowsword \ Stormlord kit, an Ork battlewagon, and bitz from the Stompa Gargant. This is what happens when I've got 200$ to throw into a five-week project. Absolutely nuts, this thing. Most of the guns and turrets had to be fixed in place for structural integrity, but some parts still swivel or pivot. The ramming plow on the front opens up to reveal the boarding point, and the Deffkopta pad on the back lifts off. This thing was so much fun to build :) There's 6 pics from various angles in the ORKZ 40k gallery. WAAAAGH !!!

This new gallery will showcase one of my favorite armies for Warhammer 40k - The 5th Karelian trenchers. The Trenchers are made up mostly of old IG models with bits from the Cadian plastic set, Brettonian peasants, and Empire gun carriages. Every model in this army has been converted to some degree, with a few really awesome scratch-built pieces. Enjoy !

New Gallery up. My "Albion Celts" army for Fantasy Battle. Took forever to assemble a whole army with different unique troops. Had to build a lot of stuff from scratch. These chariots are from a British company called "Warlord Games" that make awesome historical stuff, mostly Ancient Britons and Romans. Great models. More to come in this gallery shortly.

Just added more pictures of my "Duorvhes" - A squad of bikers with a psyker in a sidecar. These are vintage "Squat" minis from Games Workshop, out of production for over ten years, but I'm lucky enough to have enough to field a complete army. The "Mjolnir" tank in the same gallery is a vintage Landraider with extensive conversion work. Much more to come, including Exo-armor, Veterans, Jump-Jet infantry, and characters.
